Well, November was an interesting meeting; thanks for bearing with my ad-hoc presentation on the PHP Code Works conference back in September. We had a great discussion, and I hope you'll all consider going to a conference... Just a reminder: PHP TEK is coming up in April. ;)

This month, we'll have a double-header set of presentations from our sister group, the Orlando Ruby User Group. Tyler Hunt of Devoh.com will be presenting on GIT for source control, and Caike Souza (he has dual-citizenship in PHP and Ruby) will give a lightning talk on Coding Dojo, in preparation for our own PHP coding dojo (gasp!), next month! Don't miss this one, folks...!

As usual, anymore, we'll be meeting at the clubhouse at Camden apartments in downtown Orlando courtesy of Demetrius Ford, our resident resident and official "Location Coordinator" (I couldn't come up with anything better, I'm sorry). The address is:

688 N Orange Ave
Orlando, FL 32801
(map)

You can park in the parking lot in front of the complex and in the adjacent lot, just not in the garage. The clubhouse is inside the main complex, secured by a maglock, and it's super sweet. We'll try to leave someone outside to lead people in, but try to come earlier rather than later. If you get locked out, just ping one of us by cell phone or Twitter; I'll try to keep an eye on ye ole @orlandophp account.

Looking forward to another great meeting this month,

David @ OrlandoPHP.org

Coding Dojo - sounds cool! I only recently heard of this and thought to myself "Wouldn't it be cool if we could just code it all in PHP? If so... I'm in!" -- I think they're indifferent to the language used, however PHP could be limited in some applications, depending on the challenge. However, it should be more fun when targeted specifically to PHP!
