The Orlando PHP January Meetup

Since the first Thursday of the month is January 1st, we thought it best to postpone the meeting until that next Tuesday, January 6th. If you missed December, sorry but no vote for you. ;)

If we start having more than 15 people consistently turn up to these things, we'll have to look elsewhere for a venue, I think. Packing the whole lot into Stardust with all the other customers is a little difficult, and we still have no projector! Any one have any additional suggestions?

We currently don't have a presentation lined up for next month, although any of the following are available:

• "Introduction to Unit Testing with PHPUnit and XDebug" by David Rogers of OrlandoPHP.org
  
• "OrlandoPHP.org Goes Drupal: A Hackfest!" by Everyone!
  

Please mail the group with your ideas for topics, even ones you'd just like to see tackled. Others that I'd love to see include:

• "Memcache is Your Friend" by Cory Collier
  
• "Developing in Zend Framework is Hard" by Anyone
  
• "Building the Blog: A Hackalong!" by David Rogers
  

Please take a moment to view the polls (and vote) regarding your PHP skill-level, interest in the Zend PHP5 Cert training, and topics for upcoming talks. Be sure to pop into the Message Board and check out the conversation about those topics and more; we'd love to get your thoughts on both!
